Terms of use
The rules for using this site, including what the numbers are and are not.

Information, not advice
Everything here is general information about the cost and quality of US senior care. It is not medical, legal, tax, or financial advice, and it is not a quote. Choosing a care setting involves health, family, and financial circumstances this site knows nothing about. Talk to the provider, a physician, an elder-law attorney, or a licensed financial professional before acting.
Accuracy and estimates
Published figures are reproduced as their sources report them, with citations. Modeled figures are approximations and are labeled as such wherever they appear. Facility data is republished from CMS and can lag the agency's own site: an inspection, fine, or ownership change recorded after the date on our copy will not appear here until the data is refreshed.
The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any figure is current on the day you read it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CCC Operations is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this site or its data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Using the content
You may read, quote, and link to this site, and quote short passages with attribution and a link. You may not republish the pages or bulk-extract the datasets into another product or directory, or present the content as your own. Government data republished here is public domain at its source; our compilation, labeling, and presentation of it are not.
Automated crawling is welcome at a reasonable rate for search indexing. Scraping that degrades service for other readers is not.
Third-party names and data
Facility names, addresses, and ratings are factual data about real businesses, republished from the federal registry CMS publishes under 42 CFR Part 488. They describe regulatory findings and are not statements of opinion about any facility. If a facility believes a record is inaccurate, the correction belongs at the source first: CMS and the state survey agency publish how to dispute findings. We will correct any reproduction error of our own promptly on request.
External links
We link to other publishers for sourcing. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
